This is a rotational post which will involve working throughout all departments within the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital including community, day care, early pregnancy assessment, labour ward, gynaecology and the ante natal and postnatal wards and will involve working days/ nights and 7.5hr and 11.55 hr shift patterns.

The post-holder will support the senior charge midwife and nurses and midwives within the departments in the delivery of safe and effective standards of care. The post-holder’s main duties will include maintaining HEI infection control standards in accordance with Policy through cleaning and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
