The role of Unit Operational Manager for Division of Medicine is based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the senior operational management and leadership team within the vibrant Division of Medicine, Acute Sector, of NHS Grampian.
As part of the acute sector hospital management and leadership team you will lead, manage and be accountable for the planning and delivery of the services within your portfolio. This will be achieved in line with NHS Grampian’s core values of Caring-Listening-Improving.
We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and dynamic person with excellent communication and leadership skills who wants to work with people to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of care.
It is essential that you are educated to Master’s Degree level or equivalent and able to demonstrate a proven track record of leading and managing change at a senior level within a Health and Social Care role. The ability to seek and incorporate the views of other significant stakeholders into the long term strategic direction of the hospital is necessary, as is an understanding of clinical service delivery.
Whilst this post is based within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, travel throughout Grampian and beyond will be required. A current driving licence is essential. The post holder will be required to participate in an on-call rota.
