Applications are invited for the above post starting in August 2020, for a period of between 6 and 12 months.

 

The Golden Jubilee National Hospital is home to one of the highest volume arthroplasty units within Europe, with 14 full time orthopaedic consultants specialising in lower limb arthroplasty. The department undertakes over 4000 primary and revision joint replacements annually.

 

The successful candidates will be exposed to all aspects of modern hip and knee reconstructive surgery including navigated and robotic knee arthroplasty and will also be expected to actively participate in audit and research.

 

Candidates should have completed specialist orthopaedic training in a recognised programme (CCST or equivalent) and passed the appropriate examinations (FRCS (Tr&Orth) or equivalent)
