To support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service to patients, medical and nursing staff. Ensure patient appointments for clinics, are administered and processed accurately and that patients’ health records remain confidential, are securely stored and are available as and when necessary. You will maintain patient confidentiality at all times, ensuring patient information is accurate and upt to date in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and Caldicot. You will answer the telephone and deal with enquiries from a variety of sources both internal and external. You will book patients into either Trak care clinics or Weight Watchers Sessions at any location. You will arrange interpreters where applicable and be aware of and invoke contingency plans where necessary. You should have 3 O grades or standard grades or equivalent and 1 must be in English. You must have previous clerical and computer experience, have worked with the public and have excellent communication skills. The shift pattern for this post is worked between Monday - Friday.
