The main objective of the MDT co-ordinator is to facilitate a clinically-appropriate and timely pathway for cancer patients. You will be responsible for the efficient running of multidisciplinary team meetings for specialty. This involves organising the meetings, ensuring the necessary documentation is available to allow appropriate treatment decision-making, recording the outcome and decisions made at the meetings and co-ordinating the patient pathway. This post plays a key role in the MDT group and will be integral to our aim to provide the best care to our patients. It is essential you have a further qualification in administration or equivalent experience, good organisational and communication skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Office systems, good keyboard skills and extensive knowledge of medical terminology. The hours of this post will be office hours between Monday and Friday.
