Are you a final year nursing student?
Do you meet the following criteria?
- Completion of Year 1, Year 2 and first six months of a recognised undergraduate nursing programme.
- Previous experience in a caring environment.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks efficiently and effectively within a busy environment.
- Commitment to ongoing personal development.

We are looking for students to join our busy wards within NHS Forth Valley, 11.5 hours per week.
As an Assistant Practitioner Final Year Student Nurse you would be involved in performing specific care tasks as directed and supported by a registered nurse.
This will give you the opportunity to develop your understanding of evidenced based practice and delivering care in line with current practice this will be achieved by implementing care packages under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
