An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic team within the Emergency Department in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert. 

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring and hard working Registered Nurse to become a Senior Charge Nurse as part of a multidisciplinary team. A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential.  You must demonstrate an appetite for ongoing learning and be able to provide evidence of your professional development. 

The candidate must be keen to participate and contribute significantly to the development of the rapidly evolving Emergency Care Services provision within
Forth Valley.  Your experience must demonstrate that you are a Clinical expert in Emergency Nursing and able to provide clinical leadership and expert advice to the ED Nursing team, through support and education.  The candidate will also be expected to lead surveillance and audit and support the Lead Nurse with the core dimensions set out in Leading Better Care.

You should be educated to/working towards/operating at Degree level with significant experience working at a senior level in an ED setting.

Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the Emergency Department is required.
