Ward 203, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Specialty Ophthalmology
HCSW, Band 3.
Full Time 37.5 hours per week, day/night rotation, Permanent post. 


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a keen, motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 HCSW to join the Ophthalmology team in ward 203 ARI. This post will provide the opportunity to develop professionally in the specialty of Ophthalmology with supported training. Our welcoming friendly team will help you in your development.

We are looking for a caring, hardworking individual who is keen to learn and develop skills within the specialty of Ophthalmology. The suitable candidate must have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment.   
Ward 203 cares for both elective and unscheduled Ophthalmology patients. Providing care pre and post operatively as well as providing care for ongoing investigations including the assessment and treatment of presenting emergency conditions. 
Previous acute nursing experience would be preferred.
