The shift pattern is Monday-Friday 09.00-17.00.

This is a Fixed term post for 14 months.

B6 Senior Health Improvement Officer- MacMillan Prehabilitation Advocate x2 (37.5 hours).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Health Improvement Team and alongside clinical cancer teams, third sector organisations and local authority services delivery of a 14 month Macmillan funded project supporting access to health and wellbeing services to support Prehabilitation.

The project will require you to work across local health systems to identify services which contribute to Prehabilitation interventions and develop links between these services and cancer service teams. You will also deliver improvement projects to support wider implementation of Prehabilitation interventions, e.g. resource development, training and public awareness campaigns.

You will be educated to degree level in Health Improvement, Public Health or related subject such as nutrition, or a physical activity related field and have developed skills to support working collaboratively with clinical teams, health improvement and voluntary sector colleagues to influence change. You will have demonstrable project management experience and be able to evidence knowledge and skills in health improvement and addressing inequalities.

Please note: this a fixed term/secondment opportunity for 14 months.
