The shift pattern is 12, 6 and 7.5 hour shifts including nights and public holidays (27 hours).

(Please note the salary is Pro Rata) for part time hours. 

Based in the busy Plastic Surgery Ward 18 beds, candidates should have experience of working within Acute Health Care Service. 

As part of a multi-disciplinary team the post holder will provide care to patients in support of the trained Nurse and will regularly work unsupervised. 

  • Provide practical support to the unit adhering to standards set at local level.
  • Competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for this defined patient group.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of nursing care is provided to patients and that an acceptable standard is maintained 
  • Provide, through NHS GGC policies, a safe environment for the treatment of patients and protection of staff
  • Participate in Practice Development Programmes as required.
