Applications are invited for an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Anaesthesia to join the team in providing anaesthesia for the surgical specialities of orthopaedics and general surgery.

As the National Waiting Time centre, we receive patient referrals from all over Scotland. The department of Orthopaedics is now one of the largest arthroplasty units in the United Kingdom, delivering over 25% of all hip and knee replacements for the NHS in Scotland (approx. 4,000 joints and 1,000 foot and ankle procedures).

Our Phase 2 expansion, which will open late this year, will result in a significant growth in our Orthopaedic and General programmes. The general surgery service is focussed primarily on day case and colorectal surgery, which includes major open, robotic assisted and laparoscopic procedures.
