Looking for a new and exciting challenge? Then think about working in NHS Forth Valley in the heart of Scotland.


Applications are invited from trainee doctors having completed or about to finish either UK Foundation Programmes or equivalent to apply for the position of Clinical Development Fellow (CDF) in Paediatrics.


This exciting post offers working in the Paediatric department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.   In addition, the CDF posts will have 6 hours per week of protected development time and 2 hours of in-house training. The remaining period will be distributed between clinical work in Paediatrics and Neonates, acute receiving, both in and out of hours. The post offers experience in General Paediatrics and Neonatology, which would include responsibility for assessment and treatment on the Tier 1 rota for acute paediatric inpatients, neonatal intensive care (Level 2), Postnatal and Labour wards and in our short stay assessment area and Paediatric Day care. The posts will also allow for exposure to patients managed by our subspecialty teams, which includes Diabetes, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Cystic Fibrosis, Allergy, Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Neurology and Neuro disability or Community Child.
