An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Endoscopy Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert, as a Senior Nurse Endoscopist.

We have a dedicated team of Nurse Endoscopists in NHS Forth Valley who are committed to a progressive approach to endoscopy and endoscopic procedures. We are looking for an established nurse endoscopist who will work with the team as a nurse endoscopist, preferably, in bother upper GI Endoscopy and colonoscopy.

You must be highly motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring and hard working. You will be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator who works well within a team.

You must be able to demonstrate that you are an able practitioner that has commitment and an understanding of this role and the level of responsibility and autonomy this requires. You must demonstrate your commitment to the delivery of person centred care while ensuring that quality standards and key performance indicators are met.

The flexibility to work as the situation and service requires is an essential aspect of this post. You will be expected to work a flexible pattern which includes days, evenings and weekend shift rotation.

Previous experience working as a Nurse Endoscopist is essential. The post holder will be expected to participate in the maintenance of patient registers, lead on innovative approaches to develop the department and participate in clinical discussion with the wider multidisciplinary team.
