We require a Nursery Nurse Lead Band 5 for the West of Scotland Mother & Baby Unit at ,
You will lead in the provision of quality evidence based Nursery Nurse Interventions which are aligned to the National Practice Model, Scotland, ensuring that all Nursery Nurses adhere to and deliver on Getting it Right for Every Child.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team you will have responsibility in the assessment of infant care and development needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, liaising with West of Scotland regional partners in health and social care, ensuring the delivery of high quality care to infants and patients in the context of the mother’s mental illness and her parenting responsibility. You will work in conjunction with the Health Visitor, Parent Infant Therapist and Senior Charge Nurse.
It is essential you are a Qualified Nursery Nurse – NNEB / HND with a BA Childhood Practice or working towards and are registered with Childcare and Education Board
You should also have knowledge of Perinatal Mental Illness, including perinatal risk factors. You should also have experience of working with women with infants aged 0-12 months.
The shift pattern is 5/7.
