Edinburgh / Midlothian Adult Mental Health

NHS Lothian and Edinburgh / Midlothian Health and Social Care Partnerships are  carrying out a major initiative to address long waiting times for adults of working age seeking psychological therapy.

Vacancies are now open for a number of Band 8a Clinical Psychology posts.

These roles are suitable for both full time and part time staff.   The posts are fixed term for 18 months, with the possibility of some posts becoming permanent.

Successful candidates will be based in either the Edinburgh localities or in Midlothian, to address long waits providing 1-1 psychological therapy with opportunities to contribute to group work and to supervision of others where required.  They will receive supervision and support to develop their role and ensure the initiative is a success.

The interviews for these posts will be held on April 16th 2020.
