SCPHN Health Visiting Opportunities in NHS GGC 2019-20
Post Graduate Diploma (Masters Level) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - commencing September 2019

We are continuing the recruitment of staff to undertake the Post Graduate Diploma - Specialist Community Public Health Nursing - Health Visiting Programme. This will be a full time course at one of our University Providers.
SCPHN HV Programme
We are recruiting students to commence the programme full time in September 2019. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone keen to pursue a career in health visiting and to make a difference in children's lives. Applications are invited from nurses and midwives. You must have a first level degree and evidence of recent CPD study. In addition, current NMC Registration is essential.
On appointment to the programme NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde will offer successful applicants a contract as a Student Health Visitor during the course, (Student Health Visitors will paid as Band 7 Annexe 21) progressing to a substantive Health Visiting post band 7 on successful completion of the programme and registration on Part 3 NMC register.
Graduates will be expected take up a Health Visiting post to consolidate practice within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
New Graduate SCPHN Health Visitors will complete a period of preceptorship in their first post as part of NMC requirements.
