We also believe in looking after our staffs welfare and we are now keen to recruit a Band 8A Inpatient Operational Nurse Manager to join our In-patient management team.
As an integral member of the senior management team you are needed to support the inpatient services manager to provide clinical nurse leadership, safe and effective management of the nursing resource to ensure robust and safe staffing which minimizes clinical and non-clinical risk, clinical governance activity and monitoring which includes care assurance; standards compliance; professional regulation; responding to complaints; staff governance; legislative frameworks; national and board policy/guidelines implementation, monitoring nursing clinical activity and workforce issues and ensuring resource efficiency are critical aspects of the role. You should have significant clinical experience as a competent band 7 level Registered Mental Health Nurse, demonstrate excellent Leadership skills, You should have good communication skills including negotiation, influencing, persuading, facilitating and conflict resolution skills, be motivated and have the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst providing assurance regarding person centered effective care delivery within clinical settings and ensuring professional accountability. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual at a time of significant change and development. The shift pattern for this post is as per the needs of the service. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and you should be educated to or working towards your Masters Degree Level.
