You will be part of the Administration and Clerical Team within Homelessness and Asylum Health Services, working directly with the multi- disciplinary team (MDT) across 2 sites, to support the service. You will be required to provide an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative service to all members of the team, and provide cross cover within larger admin team and reception cover. It is essential that you are a proficient typist with excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of personalities. You must show competence in the use of range of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL. You must show knowledge of working in an office environment and of operation of office equipment and systems. You should be willing to participate in short courses or more formal training opportunities to improve skill level e.g. through achievement of SVQ in Administration at Level 2 or 3. There will be an on-going requirement to have a personal development plan agreed with the manager which will include participation in training and development. The post requires knowledge of organisation and department gained through prior experience within the organisation, induction or short period of orientation.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday Friday, 9am- 5pm.
