NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is increasing our Nursing and Midwifery Staff Bank workforce to support our core staff deal with the Covid-19 outbreak.
We are seeking additional Bank Health Care Support Workers (Nursing Assistants) to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s Nursing and Midwifery Staff Bank.
Our Staff Bank enables staff to work varying hours on an ‘as and when’ basis but can be on a full and part time capacity across a range of shift patterns including day, evening and night shifts including weekends .
Opportunities for work are available across all NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s hospital locations covering both Glasgow and Clyde (Paisley and Greenock)
Successful candidates will be passionate and enthusiastic about high quality patient care, putting patients at the heart of everything they do. You will be working as part of our nursing teams and will need to be able to think on the spot, show empathy and be hardworking and dedicated.
Applications are invited from individuals who can demonstrate great people skills and communication skills. You must be organised with a positive attitude towards flexibility and able to demonstrate your availability to work a mixture of shift rosters. Experience of working in a care setting or a customer facing is preferable as is holding an SVQ Level 2 in Healthcare Support (SCQF level 6) or equivalent experience.
Above all we are looking for staff who have a genuine passion for providing excellent service to our patients and can demonstrate professionalism and commitment during this critical period for us which will enable us to continue to deliver our services to all our communities .
All appropriate induction and training will be provided.
