NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is increasing our Nursing and Midwifery Staff Bank workforce.

We are welcoming interest from Registered Nurses to join our Staff Bank workforce to support our core staff deal with the  Covid-19 outbreak. We can be very flexible in terms of work patterns and hours.

In addition to our current availability of nursing and midwifery bank shifts we expect to increase bank shifts across for example:

  • General Medicine wards
  • A&E (emergency departments)
  • EAU (emergency assessment units)
  • ICU (critical care)
  • Care of the Elderly
  • Paediatrics

Our Nursing and Midwifery Staff  Bank enables staff to work varying hours on an ‘as and when’ basis but can be on a full and part time capacity across a range of shift patterns including day, evening and night shifts including weekends.

Opportunities for work are available across all NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s hospital locations covering both Glasgow and Clyde (Paisley and Greenock)

All appropriate induction will be provided.
