The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe, care and respectful way.An opportunity has arisen for 1 fixed term maternity leave cover post within Station 12, University Hospital, Ayr.
Station 12 is a 24 bedded medical ward specialising in Rheumatology. You must be a 1st Level Registered Nurse with a genuine interest in this speciality. Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential. You will deliver individualised person centred care and ensure patient safety at all times. You will work as part of the team, demonstrating a positive “can do” attitude, commitment, dedication, flexibility and reliability in delivering a high quality service. Knowledge of, and previous experience, working with patients with cognitive impairment and challenging behaviours would be beneficial for this role.
This post will be fixed term for a period until March 2021
Hours: 34.5 per week which will be worked on a rotational basis covering day and night shifts and weekend working.
