An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Efficiency Support Officer (Band 4) to join the Procurement Team within NHS Borders (Based at Borders General Hospital.
We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual who will be responsible for managing an analysis of Procurement Spend across NHS Borders to identify cost efficiencies or better value for money. Scope also includes managing the Procurement Ordering System (PECOS) and the National Catalogue management system (PCM). The role also involves training of departments and new user on PECOS.
You will have excellent organisational and problem-solving skills and will have the ability to prioritise a demanding workload while working on you own initiative.
You will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Procurement function with a professional knowledge of the Procurement Ordering System (PECOS) and the Catalogue Management System (PCM).
Knowledge of the Genesis Ward Product Management system is desirable.
Working Hours will be Monday to Friday (37 hours to be worked between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm with flexible arrangements available)
