Secondment opportunity with Quality, Risk+ Governance (QRG) team
6 months
Band 6 Midwife (29.7hours)

This is a fantastic development opportunity to enhance your knowledge with quality, risk and governance.
Your role would include working within a small passionate team who review the care of women and babies within the maternity service.
You can support your colleagues with reporting and managing adverse events, participate in reviews of care through risk management process, as well as joining established groups such as PPH, Oasi, Morbidity and Mortality.
You can gain exposure and experience with completing significant adverse event reviews (SAER) and be involved with sharing the learning with teams.
Your role will include providing positive feedback to staff whose care has been supportive and excellent to families. And, to share any learning to ensure care is of the best standard and as per evidence-based guidelines.
You can support with the education and training for staff, shared learning events and join existing quality improvement groups to increase your knowledge with QI.
Support will be given throughout your time with the QRG team
