You will be part of a team within a CAMHS service which is working towards improving quality of care and ease of access to mental health services for the young people of Greater Glasgow. You will be expected to work across the Greater Glasgow CAMHS bases carrying out the assessment and formulation of difficulties in accordance with the referral criteria ensuring that the young people and their families are directed to appropriate supports. As an integral member of the multi-disciplinary you will work in partnership demonstrating compassionate caring behaviours to fulfil the key functions of the CMHT.  In particular you will be responsible for the assessment, formulation, implementation and evaluation of complex programmes of care using a strength based recovery focused approach to care that proactively involves the person and optimises self-management.  You will be required to undertake duties without direct supervision as well as supporting and supervising work undertaken by registered and unregistered nursing staff, while also being responsible for proactively promoting partnership working with patients, carers and other professionals/ agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies.  This involves working in a variety of home/ near to home community environments. You will be participating in as well as providing regular caseload line management supervision and Clinical Supervision and undertaking line management responsibilities are critical aspects of the role, while supervising the practice of others, monitoring undertaking mentorship/ preceptorship responsibilities and supporting the team leader in the ongoing learning and development of the staff team and the CMHT key functions are important aspects of this role. It is essential that you are a NMC registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse while being educated to degree level or the equivalent. You should be able to evidence your completion of evidence based psychological therapies/ psychological approached to care formal programme of study.

 

 

These are a permanent posts with full time hours (37.5) these hours will be worked Monday to Friday from 09.00 - 17.00.
