You will provide podiatric care in a variety of settings where you will be either directly or indirectly supervised whilst remaining part of a wider team. You will provide a high level of care both palliative and corrective as part of an agreed care plan whilst liaising with or referring to other Health Care Professionals (HCPC’s) or Agencies as appropriate. You will plan and organise your own workload to ensure effective caseload management of a diverse range of patients. You will make a full assessment and diagnoses of patients’ podiatric conditions in order to establish a treatment/ management plan and assess patient’s associated medical conditions. You should have the ability to work with a diverse group of patients incorporating all age groups with complex medical needs e.g. Learning Disabilities, Diabetes, vascular disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis. It is essential that you have a Degree/Diploma in Podiatry and that you are currently registered with the HCPC. The shift pattern for this post is various hours.
