Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership is delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner to join the well-established team at the City Visiting Service. This post is for a permanent, part-time position (3 days/ 28.5 hours per week).
The City Visiting Service provides urgent, unscheduled, same-day home visits for adult patients on behalf of GP Practices across the whole of Aberdeen City. The service operates Monday – Friday from 8am to 6pm, and is currently based out of Woodend Hospital.
The successful candidate will join a small team of ANPs/ACPs who currently provide this service to GP practices across the City, and will be capable of autonomously assessing, diagnosing and prescribing treatments as appropriate for a wide range of acute clinical presentations.
If you are a Registered Nurse or Paramedic Practitioner with a PgDip or MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice, can provide evidence of considerable consolidation/experience in delivering care at an Advanced Practice level, and you would welcome the opportunity to be part of this service, we would very much like to hear from you.
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence, and have access to a car for work purposes as travel throughout Aberdeen City area is essential. Please note that this also includes travel within low-emission zone (LEZ) areas.
