Strategic Programme Managers

Strategic Planning Department

Temporary Fixed Term post - 12 months

Reporting to the Head of Implementation, Strategic Planning to provide strategic planning expertise and advice to site or service management teams within the post’s remit, in support of strategic, financial, and operational change to deliver the organisation’s objectives, summarised in the 3-year Hospital Plan and emerging recovery programmes.

To act as a key interface ensuring that Acute services plans align effectively and coherently with IJB strategic plans to deliver improved services for patients and more effective use of joint resources.

As a member of the hospital/service management team contribute to and participate in the management and decision-making for sites and services, with leadership emphasis on defining and delivering the strategic vision

You will work closely with the Head of Implementation, Strategic Planning and Acute Services Directors.

To be successful in this role you will need to have outstanding skills in both the intellectual and practical arenas, bringing an insightful understanding of policy developments and formulation of strategy, and the ability to formulate and implement robust plans and performance management frameworks.

You should be able to demonstrate good experience in managing complex projects and programmes.
