Bayview House Care Home for Older Adults is looking for a Social Care Assistant to join their team.


The post will require you to work as part of a team to support vulnerable adults in a residential setting and to contribute to the movement and treatment of clients to maximise their physical comfort.


You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure

In order to be able to carry out the duties of this post effectively and safely, candidates should be able to provide evidence of a good basic education, good written communication and report writing skills.

 

Applicants should have experience in working with people in a care setting. Applicants are required to have SVQ 2 in Social Care or equivalent or to commit to achieving SVQ2.
