Job Advert
NHS Orkney has an exciting opportunity for a general and CT radiographer to join our Radiology team.
Working autonomously, as part of a small team without on-site radiological support, you will need to be confident in assessing the quality of your images; recognising and escalating urgent findings. You will undertake all radiographic duties including general radiography and on-call (approximately 1 in 5).
With a new hospital just open, including a state of the art general Radiography rooms, this is an excellent time to join NHS Orkney.
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) Radiography with HCPC registration. You will be able to work unsupervised, independently, and as part of a team. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential in this post. Further training in CT will be given if required
