An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join Ward 42, Medicine of Elderly within NHS Fife.
We require Nursing Auxiliaries within Ward 42 Victoria Hospital. We are seeking a caring individual who has a willingness to learn. Previous experience in venepuncture, blood glucose monitoring, catheterisation, cannulation and observations would be desirable.
The post requires someone with excellent communication skills, good time management, the ability to prioritise workload and an ability to use initiative as well as being a good team player.
If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. The Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post
