Advanced Speech and Language Therapist - Bairns Hoose

Combined Child Health

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and highly experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis (Funding available until April 2026) to be part of a Test of Change project within The Bairns Hoose programme. (Bairns' Hoose - Child protection - gov.scot)

Clinical work will be based from Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, however, the post holder will be delivering a service to both Aberdeen City and Aberdeen shire and will be expected to travel accordingly.

The post involves working with children and young people with a range of complex communication difficulties who have been victims or witness of abuse and working with children under the age of criminal responsibility whose behaviour has caused harm

Within the department of Speech and Language Therapy in Combined Child Health, we are committed to staff development through regular meetings, supervision and ongoing support and training.
