The Golden Jubilee University National Hospital are excited to provide this fantastic opportunity for motivated individuals to undertake the SVQ programme, delivered in partnership with the NHS Academy. This programme is a great opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to further their career within this peri-operative environment or for those who aspire to work within theatres.
On completion of this program, you will gain a SVQ Level 3 and progress to a qualified Associate Perioperative Practitioner within our Thoracic, General & Colorectal Theatres.
There is an opportunity for further learning and development in this role, with in-house development courses on offer. Our Clinical Education team is also on hand to provide support, from staff induction to delivering monthly education days in areas such as Basic Life Support and Manual Handling, as well as speciality specific training sessions.
This is a full time course, consisting of clinical placements, along with online teaching through the Virtual Learning Environment provided by NHS Golden Jubilee SVQ centre in conjunction with the NHS Academy. Course fees are fully funded by The Golden Jubilee National Hospital.
It would be beneficial to have qualifications at SVQ level 3 but not necessary.
