Crewe Medical Centre is a friendly and fast paced GP surgery. We are looking to welcome a new receptionist into our close-knit team. This is an extremely important role which includes being the first point of contact for our patients and providing administrative support to the GPs. We are a training practice and so we host trainee GPs and medical students throughout the year.

The post is full time of 37.5 hours per week – Monday-Friday (Hours to be discussed). We do require some flexibility in team members during holiday periods and so the ability to work between 8am and 6pm would be advantageous.

Experience of working within a healthcare environment would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with a warm and approachable demeanour who is ready to put patients at the centre of everything we do. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, a good level of IT skills and the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Applicants should also be a good team player with a pleasant telephone manner and a strong sense of confidentiality.
