BAND 7

 37.5 hours per week - Permanent contract



An opportunity has arisen within the Paediatric Physiotherapy Service based within Royal Hospital for Children - Glasgow for a permanent Band 7 Physiotherapist in the Intensive Care Unit.  This is a unique opportunity for physiotherapy advanced practice role within the Intensive Care environment.  We require a forward-thinking physiotherapist with appropriate clinical experience to join our Paediatric Physiotherapy Service. You will be a team player with previous respiratory experience including critical care and preferably paediatric experience who would like the challenge of an advanced practice role. You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their carers.  You must have current HCPC registration. This post requires close working relationship with Neurology, Orthopaedic and Respiratory MDT as well as Community services to ensure the rehabilitation needs of the individuals within the Intensive Care environment are met.

 

On call/emergency, evening, weekend and public holiday duties will be required as part of this post.   This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic physiotherapy service and play a crucial role in the future development of the paediatric service.
