We are excited to be recruiting to an OT clinical specialist role in our Learning Disability Team in NHS Forth Valley.
The LD Occupational Therapists work alongside health and social care colleagues to improve health outcomes and address inequalities for people with a learning disability living within Forth Valley.
The Clinical Specialist will work with people with a learning disability in order to enable them to participate in daily life which can improve their health, independence and wellbeing.
The post will involve working as an integral part of the MDT with people with Learning disabilities who have complex needs. The post-holder will complete assessments, contribute to MDT risk assessments and clinical meetings. They will also work alongside the Occupational Therapy Team to develop service delivery.
We would welcome applications from OTs who have experience within learning disabilities, a drive to improve services and have a strong collaborative approach to care.
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered as an occupational therapist.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
