You will be a Team Lead at Thor House, Thurso, and as such, will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and supervising the delivery of day care to enable adults with a learning disability to live as independently as possible within the community. With the wider team you will plan and ensure packages of care are delivered appropriately, in accordance with outcomes of assessments.
You will support the day centre manager to monitor and ensure the quality and standard of professional practice in line with the Scottish Social Services Council legal requirements & NHSH policies and procedures. The service delivery will be appropriate and in accordance with the Health & Social Care Standards and the regulatory standards of the Care Inspectorate, to achieve this you will work closely as part of the integrated teams and other partnership services.
Recent experience of working in a Health/Social Care setting is essential and applicants should also be registered with the SSSC.
This is a permanent full time post of 37 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
