Locum Consultant Radiologist x 3 WTE

Full Time/Part Time (10 PA, including up to 2 PA SPA)

Fixed term for 12 months


Salary Scale - £111,430-£148,064 per annum (pro rata if part time)

The Radiology Department is a welcoming and cohesive unit; the existing Consultants all have subspecialty interests and Specialist Trainees from both the West and South East Scotland training schemes rotate through the department. There are good relationships with clinical Consultants throughout the hospital. Overnight CT is outsourced from 8pm weeknights, 6pm at weekends.


Forth Valley Royal Hospital serves a population of approximately 310,000, with state of the art digital Radiology equipment. It is set in attractive parkland, and located centrally between, and within easy reach of, Glasgow and Edinburgh by road or rail. Their respective airports are little over half an hour from most parts of Forth Valley and road and rail links are excellent, enjoy low property prices and the option of a city or country lifestyle, and excellent schools whether state or private.
