This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
To be responsible for the effective development and delivery of the Foundation’s Grantmaking Strategy and the management, development and evaluation of the portfolio of funding programmes. Working closely with the Director and Senior Management Team (SMT), take a lead in forging strong working relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring the Foundation’s funding priorities are closely aligned with the strategic priorities of NHS Lothian. To oversee the effective management and control of Specific Funds in close liaison with the finance and fundraising teams, and NHS Lothian’s senior management and clinical leadership. To develop and direct an appropriately skilled staff resource, and provide support and effective management of the funding and grants team to deliver funding objectives and impact measurement and reporting. |
