The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Wednesday 8am to 4pm.

Please note the salary is pro rata for part time hours.

We have an exciting opportunity available seeking experienced a registered nurse to join the Acute Pain Service GGC. Applications are invited from nurses with a minimum of 5 years’ experience at band 5.

The post holder will be joining a multi-disciplinary team with an ethos of safety, quality improvement and patient centred care. The post holder will work as part of the team of enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialists within GG&C.

Flexibility is required to support the wider team when service need require.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a passion for managing pain, whilst empowering and educating clinical team to provide quality assured pain management.

Excellent communication and team player are essential. Individual considering this post require an appreciation of the complex issues facing patients with acute pain. We are looking to seek a flexible individual who is committed to team work and person centred care.

We are looking to attract a nurse prepared to work autonomously and within a small supportive multi-disciplinary team whilst delivering on a demanding caseload. You will be educated to degree level and be willing to undertake Non-Medical Prescribing

at level 1.
