Counsellor
Salary: Band 5, Step 1 £35,813 WTE (based on 37.5 hours per week) (rising to Step 2 £39,736 WTE subject to satisfactory performance review), pro rata per annum + Unsocial Hours Enhancement + Pension + Benefits
Hours: 22.5 per week
We are looking for an approachable, organised and compassionate team member to join our exciting new holistic therapy space, providing counselling to members of the general public.
Following on from the success of Studio15, our social enterprise hair and nail salon, we are excited to share that we are expanding our social enterprise services with a new holistic therapy space. This mirrors St Columba’s Hospice Care’s commitment to sustainability, accessibility and community engagement. If you are self-motivated and passionate about supporting our work by contributing to the development of a new social enterprise and are driven by a desire to make a difference, we want you in our team!
You will be a registered, qualified and experienced counsellor, qualified to Diploma level and accredited or eligible for accreditation by BACP, COSCA or equivalent. You will provide sessions both in-person and/or remotely via telephone and/or video-conferencing. The service will be offered on 7 day per week basis, Monday to Sunday - working patterns and days will be discussed at interview.
