NHS Fife Estates Department are looking to employ an Apprentice Craftsperson Plumber within their maintenance team. The post will involve completing a full modern apprenticeship in conjunction with Fife College to be completed within 3 years. It will consist of block release college attendance and onsite training in various Healthcare premises within the organisation.
You must have obtained 5 Standard at Grades 1, 2 or 3 or Intermediate 2 / National 5 Grades at level A, B or C or a mix of the above, Subjects to include; Maths, English, Physics, Technical subject and one other subject
You will initially be based at Cameron Hospital in the Central & NE Fife Sector but may have block periods of working from Victoria Hospital, Queen Margaret Hospital, and Stratheden Hospital so must have the ability to travel to the various sites.
Please note this is a Trainee post, therefore Annex 21 Trainee pay arrangements will apply
Trainees are paid a percentage of the pay band maximum for the qualified rate which is dependent on the duration of the training period (see terms and conditions in job pack).
Starting pay for any trainee will be no less than the rate of the Scottish Living Wage.
