A permanent 1WTE B8A Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologists has arisen within the established Leverndale Adult Inpatient Psychology Service where you will provide a high quality psychology service to patients of the Acute Admission wards, Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, and inpatient Rehabilitation Service.
This will involve psychological assessment and intervention for patients of the service, the delivery of evidence-based psychological therapy groups, the provision of consultation to multi-disciplinary teams, and the provision of reflective practice, training, and supervision multi-disciplinary staff.
You’ll be supervised and line managed by a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and you’ll be part of the South Glasgow Psychology Department where you’ll benefit from support and access to CPD opportunities.
You’ll be required to provide clinical placements to trainees undertaking the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology therefore you’ll have completed, or be eligible for, formal training in the supervision of others that is recognised by the DClinPsy programme.
