The role of the Security Infrastructure Engineer is to provide technical support to all areas relating to IT Infrastructure.
The post holder will support the IT Infrastructure systems in providing technical input for the implementation and support of all computer systems within the remit of IT Infrastructure.
The post holder will also work together with colleagues and users in NHSL and other external agencies to provide technical support for all desktop hardware and software.
Additional Information Specific to the Role:
- The role will support all aspects of Infrastructure systems and services including Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Systems Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM), VMware vSphere, Cisco Product, F5 and McAfee Security products.
- The role will be part of an operational team supporting the products above ensuring a secure, resilient and performant Infrastructure environment for NHSL staff and applications.
