We have a vacancy for a Band 5 Therapy Radiographer within the Lanarkshire Beatson Radiotherapy Facility; the post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Radiotherapy facility in Lanarkshire is a Satellite facility attached to The Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow, we are located approx 16miles east of the main centre within the grounds of Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire

The facility has two True Beam linear accelerators and one Phillips CT with Advantage Windows Virtual Simulation system.

You will ensure a highly specialised clinical service is provided to patients.

You will carry out all routine imaging (inc CBCT when trained)..

You will be responsible for your own development and life-long learning, you will also be required to supervise junior radiographers, advising on Imaging, training and development.

The responsibilities of this post are described in the attached Job Description and minimum qualifications are as follows:

  • DCR(T) or BSc in Therapy Radiography (or equivalent)
  • State Registration with HCPC as  a Therapy Radiographer
