You will be aligned to a post via a matching process carried out by Associate Nurse Directors and Clinical Nurse Managers. Applications will be aligned as far as possible to match your stated preferences with the clinical priorities. The decision making will take into account your learning, skills, experience and the values that you have described within your assessment.
Each of our clinical teams have identified the positions that are a priority for the service and these posts will be allocated first to applicants that match exactly the requirements. As vacancies are being filled in priority order we would hope that you will be able to be matched to one of your preferred areas. If it is not possible you will be offered a post taking into consideration your experience and the service need.
Please note that adverts are updated regularly and all vacancies are subject to change. You are encouraged to refer back periodically to familiarise yourself with any changes that may arise. In addition to your clinical skills, we are interested in your attitude, passion for working in healthcare and your potential to contribute to our high quality patient care, as well as demonstration of personal values aligned to those of our organisation: NHS Lothian Values
