An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Hospital at Night team in Aberdeen Royal infirmary for driven, motivated individuals to join the team as a Nurse Practitioner. Various hours will be considered for the available posts, successful candidates will be expected to work both day and night hours, however predominantly night duty.
The Hospital at Night team is a dynamic and innovative team of nurse practitioners working across the ARI site to provide a high level of safe and effective care to patients and supporting medical staff overnight.
Successful candidates would be expected to complete a post graduate certificate within university with an opportunity to further their education to post graduate of MSc level. It is desirable for the post holder to have a certificate in advanced life support and evidence of previous or ongoing career development.
Job description: Successful candidates would be expected to offer advice to ward staff, support the medical team overnight and also practice advanced clinical examination skills and devise medical plans appropriate for the patients needs based on reputable sources of evidence. High levels of communication are a desirable attribute for the role along with good prioritisation skills and individuals should be able to work autonomously aswell as part of a team.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates who are eligible.
