An opportunity has arisen for to join our Support Service team to provide portering services to our wards and departments at Queen Margaret and Lynebank Hospitals.
You will be reliable and flexible and have the ability to work as part of a team for this post. Good communication skills are necessary to perform this role safely and effectively.
Previous portering experience is desirable and full training will be provided
Manual handling duties can vary from patient movement throughout the hospitals via chairs, trolleys and beds; delivery of goods which include mail room duties, meal trolleys. Collection of waste, furniture etc and any ad hoc service as required.
You will be provided with uniform and personal protective equipment where this is required and will be expected to adhere to the NHS Fife Dress Code.

Disclosure Scotland PVG clearance is required for these posts.
Hours will be worked 3 days per week - dayshift, backshift and nightshift.
