You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and your main duties will be to contribute to the aims of STAG. This will involve ensuring that complete, accurate, and timely data are available on an ongoing basis. This is required to monitor the quality of care provided to patients and associated outcomes of care, and to enable improvements in care to be identified and implemented.  A Band 6 charge nurse within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Emergency Department – working with patients who are major, minor or requiring resuscitation.  You should have relevant band 5 experience in an Emergency Department, orthopaedic setting or have a keen interest in audit.   You will liaise regularly with the national audit team to ensure that national guidance is adhered to locally. This will involve attending National Audit Coordinator meetings in order to network with colleagues from across Scotland and participate in the further development of the audit/ register.  It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse/AHP with evidence of current registration. You should have experience of health research/clinical autdit/data management/health information.  The shift pattern for this post is Core Hours. 


Althought it states that this post is 37.5 hours we would welcome applications if you like to work 18.75 hours
