An exciting opportunity has arisen in Orthopaedics at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for Band 5 Registered Nurses .We are looking for a caring, hardworking individuals to join our team and provide a high standard of care to patients within the Unit.
The Orthopaedic Unit in Queen Elizabeth University Hospital has 32 Consultants caring out a varied range of specialist surgeries for fractures/injuries and elective orthopaedic surgery for the South of Glasgow.
The unit comprises of 112 orthopaedic beds and this post is based in the 28 bedded Trauma stepdown / elective ward. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered to patients.
It is essential you are a Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration and an interest in Orthopaedic nursing.
Hours are 37.5 hours per week full time, working a 12 hour shift pattern over day and night shifts including weekend and public holiday cover.
