As a Senior Charge Nurse within Station 8 you will be working in the Respiratory/Medical Ward at the University Hospital Ayr. You will be a Registered Nurse on the NMC register. You will be dedicated to the team. You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of respiratory, and general medical conditions and will seek the best results through appropriate use of people resources and data.
You will nurture and develop the nursing team to ensure an excellent skill set to provide high quality person centred care that meets the needs of our patients and provides support to their families and carers.
You will have excellent communication and social skills and be able to work well with a range of multi-disciplinary team members to achieve a high quality of care throughout the patient’s journey. Your natural style as an integrated leader of people with strengths of empathy diplomacy and a passion to maintain high standards will equip you for this role.
